When Brock Robbins moved from Hammond, LA to Pontotoc, MS, he felt deeply the absence of that comforting cajun cuisine. Armed with his experience in such restaurants as Brady's, Jacmel Inn, Tupala's in Hammond, and Cest Bon in Pontchetonta, LA, he decided to remedy the situation with the help of his parents, Tom and Eugenia Pope, owners and operators of Boondocks Grill. Three years later, Boondocks Grill has found a home in downtown Tupelo, and the response has been phenomenal! We would like to thank all of our patrons, local musicians, and artists who have made Boondocks Grill what it is, and what we always wanted it to be: exquisite cajun cuisine served in an atmoshpere of distinct downtown Tupelo charm!
Boondocks Grill is known for our spectacular live, local entertainment five nights a week. Live acts such as Pitlcat Project (everything from gypsy swing to jazz fusion), Scott Chism and Better Half (featuring sweet bluegrass harmonies), Tupelo's own Elvis tribute artist, Dan Westmoreland, and countless other amazingly talented artists routinely grace our stage.
